Bob Kennedy, American distance runner
A couple of years ago I went from being a couch potato asthmatic to being a marathon runner. A slow one, but a marathon runer nonetheless. Then I got lazy again and all my fitness slipped away. It's time to get it all back again.

Quote of the Day
During 13 years of professional running, I never got it fully right. It's like golf. You'll never be perfect; you try to get a little better at every opportunity. That's the beauty of distance running, I think. It's a never-ending journey of trying to find out how good you can be, what I can improve on, even with my limitations. I'll never know the answer, but I'll keep looking for it.

Weekly Review and Plan
Summary of Last Week
No of Runs- 1 (asthma ruined plan)
Total weekly mileage- 2miles
Total time running : 20mins 19 seconds
BEST RUN: 2.00 MILES IN 20:19.29 (Sunday) In fact, it was the only run of the week
Weight now 11st 3lb (-1lb). S0 how does that work? I don't run, but lose a pound!
Plan for the week ahead
Exactly the same as the week missed. Forget speed, just run 2 miles comfortably. Improving speed is off the menu for a while as it effects my asthma. Concentrate on distance, and the speed, in time, will follow.
Tuesday - 2 miles
Thursday - 2 miles
weekend- 2 miles
